Nice example of a true survivor car.
Just Cool Cars: '65 Shelby Cobra is rough but original

The basic car is very original, but without scrutinizing the engine extensively many things jump out incorrect, like valve covers, plug wires, dist cap, carb return spring and bracket are wrong, aircleaners were typically different heights, overflow tube on expansion tank is incorrect, hose from back of engine to puke tank is missing, carb wedge spacers are missing, carb mounting gaskets are wrong color, doesn't look like the correct banjo fitting is on the front carb which would make the fuel line visible between the carbs, breather cap shouldn't be on the valve cover, throttle linkage is not typical of what was delivered on SC cars (substantiation needed of that having been on the car from new), dipstick in wrong location for stock pan (someone probably retrofitted an Aviaid on this), some hoses wrong color/material. Ok, enough. It is a very neat car otherwise though!
