I have 255/60-15 Bridgestone RE710 rear and 225/60 front. They are tall and would fill the guards guards well but I need to lower my rear. I would like the look of a 275/50 or 295/50 better, but grabbed them when a batch of these 710's were imported back in 2000. Excellent in the wet and great street confidence was the reason. Even back then the choice for a good 15" was poor.
If you do go the 255/60's I would use a 235/60 up front. There is a big height difference between the 255 and 225.
