Hey Jeff,
I removed my pumps early this spring, did some work to them and re-installed. They wouldn't prime! That was a first.
I have a mechanical pump at the engine. I then cranked and fired the engine for a few seconds. Shut the engine down, flipped the pump switches and low and behold.....the 240A's were primed and ready.
Since then, when I hop in for a drive and before I start the engine, I'll check the 240A's to see if they're still primed. They always are.
