Just a final update,
Stayed with stock type set-up replaced rear coils with brand new Moog springs, and the thicker insulators noted in my last post. I did't even change out the original Monroe shocks yet.
Ride height clearance much better and ride is tremendously better.
Even though the car only has 8000 miles on it, I guess 22 years caused the rear springs to sag.
I noticed prior to changing springs, they were really compressed sitting on all 4's. New springs have much more spring to them.
FYI springs are for an '87 Chevette, Moog from AutoZone part number RCS631V isolators energy suspension ENS9-6129G from Summit racing.
