'way too late. Lotsa loud rock n roll, shoot-em-up-bang-bang, race cars, work in a loud factory (decades ago), and getting wacked flush on my right ear with a racquet ball. Deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other. My hearing aids do have a noise cancellation feature that helps a bunch but generally, I just smile and nod and enjoy my barking Rat motor.
