The other alternative is to measure and cut a piece of clear plastic at some place like Tap Plastics that can be screwed into the glove box door and still keep the glove box door operable.

Once you have that in place, then I'd install a combo infrared, motion detector and security camera system, focused solely on the signature, similar to securing other important documents, say like the Constitution, in order to secure it from folks walking around shows with cleaning products, which if you think about it, is quite common.
