ziggy75,
It's almost as much fun as the Cobra ;-) Set up for road racing.
I used a stock Mustang (199? vintage) pump. It works fine.
Possibly your crank-mounted pump would be OK.
I do use a small
oil cooler in the return line from the rack to the pump. It was necessary due to the track use. For street you might not need it, but I'd recommend one just to be safe. The one I use is like this one: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Derale-13200-Power-Steering-Cooler/dp/B0006HNM66/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1415390610&sr=8-2&keywords=Power+Steering+Cooler"]Amazon.com: Derale 13200 Power Steering Cooler Kit: Automotive@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41CoUzCJTEL.@@AMEPARAM@@41CoUzCJTEL[/ame] You wouldn't have to use this particular one - anything similar would do.
