Well, it wasn't really stripped down, we just can't use some of the parts on the dyno....fuel log, filter, lines, etc. I can usually dyno with the pulleys on and let the engine turn the water pump, but to be honest, I didn't find the water pump pulley until the evening before David came to pick the engine up.
As for the period correct items, they certainly do look classy and awesome. However, I have been discussing with David about changing some of those items for the sake of being able to feed 700 hp. In my estimations, he has picked up about 185 hp over the last iteration and the fuel demand has changed in proportion. There's only so much fuel you can push through a 1966-ish style fuel filter, log, and line.
