No Sonic Check, the bore was actually @ 4.242" so .009" over, I don't know the history of how it got there, maybe a .005" over piston, and or some re-rings and honing, who knows. So I just had it honed out .008" to 4.250" to clean up any tapers with torque plates. The cyl thicknesses are what they are and a Sonic wouldn't of changed the intended use of the motor, which will be a 10.5 to 1 CR daily driver. When I have to go back thru this thing again down the road, and should I have to go larger on the bore for some reason I'll do a Sonic then.
