This is not a good sign, especially if you are waiting for an engine build that was promised some time ago.
I've heard that his engine build skills and support are great, so this is a surprise.
I'm hoping this does not turn ugly for everyone that is a customer of this shop.

I know Chris (and his Mom) personally and I wish I could give you some good news. This is nothing new for Chris. I lost a 455ci Pontiac block to him that never got touched, let alone done. He was supposed to convert it from 2 bolt mains to 4 bolt mains and it never got done after YEARS.
Chris is a good kid, a good friend and a talented machinist (he learned his skills at Skips) but not much of a businessman.
His "shop" has moved more times than I can count. Where is he located now?
