I wasn't able to get a pump from Kmart so I bought a hand pump off eBay. Not the best quality but works none the less.

I bench bled the master cylinder tonight and this has given me some pedal feel but the clutch doesn't release.

When I vecuum the bleeder, it just sucks air. The bleed screw is really wobbly once it's undone. Even just a fraction of a turn and it wobbles from side to side. I think the vacuum is sucking air through the threads so not working. Is this normal?

I will try the conventional method now the master is done and see if to works that way. Should be less suseptable to air leaking in the thread.
