Big day today, my Cobra now has a heart!

Great help from my fellow round-tubers, Gregg, Phil and Dave. Thanks Phil for the engine crane, hydraulics expertly handed by Dave.

Removed the shifter from the box and that turned to be a wise decision, nice and slow, it went in easy.
