Bill, even at two thirds that number, in a Cobra, your tires just break loose and you spin, spin, spin. You can't hit WOT in the high torque/HP range of your revs, while you're on the street, for more than a second or two at most -- unless that "street" is an interstate highway away from the city. Even then, you're a heartbeat away from wheel spin even when you're above interstate speed limits. Brent's a wonderful engine builder, but what's more is that he is unusually honest while still being heavily mixed up in this peculiar hobby (which is full of crooks, btw). But he still believes that he has to compete, with the paper numbers, against other well-known builders on this site. The truth is, though, he really doesn't....
