Well the answer is that I need to use a 4 inch long 3/8" bolt with a couple washers. Problem is that the bolt can only enter from underneath due to how my HT is molded and won't allow the long bolt to enter from the top without obstruction (the cutout / recessed area is too short). This recessed area is also too shallow to use a wing nut up top as there isn't enough clearance to turn it. SPO2256
