Now why would you want to go and say something like that? If you think I may be wrong, a polite thing to do would be to ask my why I think it's a MKII.
Firstly, as per your own posts, you have limited knowledge of the differences between the different factory five chassis and the resulting potential for parts interchangeability issues. As a guy named Messer, I'm thinking that I'm seeing aggressiveness common to people of a certain region I know.
For now, I'll ignore your insult and pretend you were just asking. Here is a picture of the car in question at the show today.
That sir is a MKII driver foot box and steering assembly. Here is another shot from the show. Take note of the steering rack location. I'm sure you see the issue. I won't say due to not knowing what I'm talking about.
Here is a picture of the a car from alloycars web site. The bar on the outside of the driver's foot box is different on a MKIII.
The pictures I have posted are examples of why there are credibility issues with some of the claims being made by alloycars and now you. So now that I have nicely substantiated my claim that the car at the show today is in fact a MKII, how about you go and take a picture of your MKIII that you claim to own and show me that I'm wrong.
EDIT: I also want to point out the same air cleaner, expansion tank, and plug wires on the motor for show pics and the alloycars pic.
