My colleague has just finished making his win 3D printer at home. Other colleagues printed some if the part (gears, etc) for him. Even geekier, we can watch it printing during the day as he has an ip camera watching it 24x7 so he can check on large jobs from the office!
The jobs are much more robust and usable than I expected!
