I can only tell of my own experience. I built my own TP because I liked the look. What I didn't know and was made happy by being rewarded with a seat of the pants increase in engine power. This was verified at the drag strip by a .2 -.3 second drop in ET with no other changes. Also, my float bowl boiling fuel problem went away.. I credit the fresh air and blocking of just enough engine heat for the improvement. (460 ford) I'll take it!
