I just found a leak the former owner paid a guy 300 dollars to "fix". The dipstick tube was a sloppy fit.. It was diagnosed as the oil filter bypass.. I put in a new Lokar dip stick and the problem is solved.. Careful though, the Lokar is constructed in such a way that the bottom assembly nuts also hit the oil filter bypass housing (at least on mine) and wouldn't fully seat on its O ring. A bit of RTV and it seems fine.
