I plan to use the ERA bracket or the one from Finishline. Both are welded steel and aren't thick enough to mill. So I will need to mill the water pump.

Thanks. If you read further in the manual it notes that another area will need milled and the information is supplied separately in the instructions that come with the remote filter. "The water
pump may require modifications to the bottom mounting
boss (instructions included with cooler kit)."

I made the mods on my last car and know which areas, but can't remember the distance.
