Hopefully you've already run across and read this thread (
Fast Cars IFS), which deals with the Fast Cars IFS, enlarging mounting holes before attempting to install it, etc. The thread does deal specifically with using the 2" wider version for Cobras, indicating the narrower version is really intended as an MGB replacement, while the wider version is for Cobras.
