You are pretty close to my priorities...
1. Fun to drive period! But as u stated "at the speeds and RPM you are likely to see on the street." Is a very large part of that.
2. Low maintence
3. At least 15 MPG during normal driving, as I believe have a number at or lower than ten would lower my propensity to take the car out.
4. Can be upgraded to higher performance at a reasonable cost Once I am use to the car.
Also, the car has to run to 60 in under 5 flat.
