I wouldnt have a problem with a Torana frontend in a Cobra....Radial Tuned Suspension Mate.....Also I didnt think the DRB Cobra was Crown based, I could be wrong.
I drove Bernies old Cobra that had a solid axle 9inch in the rear and a Torana front suspension of sorts. It drove great.

Actually the last Cobra I owned was a Jag based car and it was a major PITA when i had to rebuild the diff and set up rear wheel bearings.... Dont get me wrong I love them all...
