My guess is that because the windshield posts were allowed to rotate back that the angle of the windshield layback was limited by the leading edge angle (driver preference?) of the side windows. Since the FIA Cobras were the first Cobras to utilize the windshield post modification (tilt back) it would seem possible that 2011 soon received the same mods and possibly the side windows from **** as it was prepared by SAI. Phill Hill's 289 FIA Cobra sported at least a passengers side window during the 1964 Sebring races but the overall shape was distinctly different.
