Good afternoon. To all resident Cobra experts, I only respond with fully documented information. According to the Design for Performance with Stewart-Warner Instrumentation, 1973 addition, page 29, --- S-W heavy duty Electric Fuel Pump, Electric fuel pump specifications: gas line connections: 1/4" internal P.T. --- Model 240-A (12V) pos. or neg. grd ---- -- 240-C (24V) pos. or neg. grd. Factory pressure setting : 3 1/2 - 4 PSI, adjustible 1-8 PSI (at the pump). Model 240-D (12V) Same specifications as Model 240-A less automatic pressure regulation. Preset pressure 5 1/2 PSI . If anyone needs more information, I can supply the part numbers for the 12 Volt coil kit and the switch kit for the pumps, so you can find them yourselves. I can also supply both expensive, unobtainium, kits, NOS in original S-W red and orange boxes for the lucky guys who bought 240-C pumps on ebay without doing the necessary research, and would attempt to change them out themselves, rather than having them done professionally, and tested here by our, 601HP, David.
