I am not so concerned with them but with me. I had thought I had read that there was some kind of insurance available for tracks. I must have been mistaken.

I checked the specifics of the event and I think I am OK as far as tech inspection. I'll have to check a few minor details but Olthoff Racing is putting the car together and I expect it to be pretty well sorted out when I get it.

I will have only had the car a short time and I thought it would be a good opportunity to become familiar with it. The write up describes it as a learning event not an open track day. Seems like a safe place to learn the car.

I took a 5 day class SCCA licence class at Laguna Seca quite a few years ago. I remember the class well so I am not sure if I should go in as a novice or intermediate.

Has anyone participated in it in the past?
