eI bought a couple of Mr. Gasket carb insulator kits with the aluminum heat shield and worked today on trimming them to fit around all the stuff on this low riser dual 4bbl intake and the carb vacuum secondary linkage.









The whole stack of aluminum plates and gaskets totals about 7/16 inch which is a bit more than I have room for. I plan to leave out one aluminum plate and corresponding gasket when I install it. Hopefully the rain will cooperate tomorrow and I can try it out.
