you can take it to a local auto paint supplier and tell them you need a profit (not sure if that is the correct spelling) reading on the paint, that will tell what pigments are in the paint, i have done this on a lot of paint where i am doing a blend on the paint. It is the best way in my opinion if you don't have the paint code.
