Actually yes. Up in Monterey at the track a few years ago, my friend and I got a chance to visit with him and talk about good stuff. A kid came up and asked him to sign a hat. He looked down at the kid and said "Young man, if you can tell me who I am, I will sign that thing for you. Do you know who I am?" and the kid said "not really". He said "get out of here kid and give that hat back to your Dad and tell him nice try!"
