Ron,I hope you didn't waste a lot of time watching it. It has little to do with facts and history. It was made for people that don't know Texas history and just know some myths.
Besides the story,the scenes were shot in areas that aren't even close to Texas terrain. Mountains along the Gulf Coastal Plains ??? etc....
My family arrived in Texas in 1826. My G3Grandfather was portrayed in several of the scenes.It had little to do with fact.
It might have been better if I didn't know my history.
