Sure...they want you to buy what they sell. A thread lube IS the answer! You just have to use the proper amount. Just be careful not to over lube creating brake or hub issues. I highly recommend this Doall Tool Saver, it is in a wax form(not grease), it stays on the part, it will not gall, it prevents friction(part will not get hot). We use it on many different applications. This is better than anti-seize.
