Default Deposit placed on a slabside!

Well, for many years I had been planning an FIA build but now that the timing is finally right, that slabside just really called out to me. ERA really nailed it with this one. So while the wait is a killer, I'll be keeping busy by rebuilding a 3.31 jag rear and a 393w.

Question: I am planning on using a TKO 600 /w .82 5th. Is there any issue with the shifter location on the tunnel with this transmission that I should be aware of? I could understand it would be less of an issue with the 427-style reverse lever, but with the 289 vertical lever I really don't want it too far back. As with the rest of the car, closer to original the better.

Fun times ahead!
