I prefer using top gear or in the Tremec case whichever ratio is 1 to 1, less chance of trans/driveline damage.
Jack car up under diff with wheels clear of ground. Start and run at ~30mph with foot on clutch pedal, drop car, job done usually. Make sure you have room to steer & brake if it doesn't work first time.
I used to work in a shop that had many long term projects where this was a regular occurrence, Boss always thought I was real quick at clutch replacements- not sure if he ever found out what I was really doing!![Smilie](images/smilies/smile.gif)
