I think I went by the Sports Car Exchange, dealership --almost within sight of the Glass House (Ford world HQ) in Dearborn-- back in '77 when this dark blue GT40 Mk. I was for sale.But since that was 38 years ago I can't remember what they were selling it for. Anybody remember? Here's a partial list of owners:

Al Versi, Detroit
Edsel Ford II
John Mecom Jr.

I had heard Edsel had imported the car from the UK himself so I am a little confused when the owner before him was Detroiter l Versi, which contradicts the shipped from England story
