There's more to life than guns. BTW, Canada also has its media outlets - we don't need to rely upon "a steady diet of US liberal propaganda". Interestingly, the Canadian equivalent of Fox News was shuttered not that long ago - apparently they couldn't get enough traction for their right wing propaganda, notwithstanding the fact the Canadian federal government is Conservative in both name and philosophy. We're in the throes of our own federal election, so it will be interesting to see where that goes.

Regardless of whether Canadians are liberal or conservative, the World Happiness Report, published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, recently ranked Canada #7 (and rising) while the US was ranked #17 (trending downward). Read more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Happiness_Report

Lifestyle9 ("Fashion & Lifestyle Magazine") also releases a list titled “Best countries to live in the world”. Guess what - the US ranks #20 on their list while Canada ranks #14. Different rankings than the US, but comparable positions relative to each other.

So, whether you like, dislike, agree or disagree with Canadian liberalism, it appears it works for us.

Have a great day, eh!
