2015 REPTILE ROUNDUP REGISTRATION IS OPEN

If you haven't made plans to participate in this year's fourteenth annual Reptile Roundup on Oct 15-18, registration is OPEN at Deep South Cobra Club | Cobra Owners & Enthusiasts | Special Events & Outings | RR will be held in Lakeland, Florida and events will be wrapped around one of the Southeast's "MUST ATTEND" car shows, The Lake Mirror Classic.

You must do three things in your plans...

1. Get a room at Hilton Garden Inn, 3839 Don Emerson Dr. at Lakeland Airport. Phone: 863-647-0066. Room rate is $102.00/per night. Code: Deep South Cobra Club. We have Blocked 25 rooms. For those who will be trailering their cobra, there is plenty of trailer parking at the Hilton Gardens. Check in on Thursday is 3.00pm and check out on Sunday is 12.00pm.

2. Register your car if showing at www.lakemirroeclassic.com This year we will have an expanded area dedicated to our Cobras.

3. Register for all other Roundup events at Deep South Cobra Club Deep South Cobra Club | Cobra Owners & Enthusiasts | Special Events & Outings |

Our Reptile Roundup will kick off for Thursday arrivals departing from the Hilton Garden Inn for food and fun at Lakeland's Brew Hub, 3900 Frontage Road South Brew Hub

Friday morning all cars are invited to participate in a classic road rally with a unique destination of interest, lunch and some very interesting roads that Polk County has to offer. After we return to the hotel for a little rest to catch our breath we again will depart for downtown Lakeland for our Meet & Greet hosted by Backdraft Racing Backdraft Racing - Custom Cobra Kit Car Manufacturers | Backdraft Racing Reg, Frank, Craig and the gang will have their trailer loaded with cars, pizza and beverages for all! After we "fill-up", it is just a short walk down to the Lake Mirror Promenade for the Budweiser Rendezvous. The Rendezvous is a free rock and roll concert and party with 100 hot rods and muscle cars flexing their pipes.

Saturday is showtime folks! The Lake Mirror Classic will be held from 10 AM to 3 PM. All cars registered for the event will depart as a group and will be staged together in an expanded area downtown. Upon arrival you will be parked and instructed where to pick up your registration materials and signage. If you haven't already registered, you can still get in the show. Go to Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival - Home to register. A nice sign along with 2-lunch vouchers are included with your show packet and all proceeds go to local Charities. Will your cobra get a ribbon this year? Early registration with a discounted price of $50 is available until 9/1. They add $5 for an internet fee. Remember, registration after September 1 goes up $75. Show registration closes on 10/2.

For those RR attendees that are not registering for the show, we have a fun day planned for you! As a group you will depart from the Hilton for special parking to visit the Lake Mirror Classic for a couple of hours before a group rally winding some backroads to Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales for a visit and lunch Bok Tower Gardens in Central Florida | A Piece of Florida History near Tampa and Orlando They are having their Boktoberfest with free admission, so special parking has been arraigned.

Saturday evening we will have a dinner at the Club at The Club at Eaglebrooke | Lakeland, FL 1300 Eaglebrooke Blvd. Lakeland. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful 18th hole. Awards and our annual meeting will be held after dinner.

On Sunday we will have a short cruise for breakfast for anyone that might not have a long travel day home.
