Just checking. Your 5.0 shoukld have a 157 tooth 50 oz flywheel and a 3 bolt passenger side starter motor from factory with a 10.5 inc clutch and a cable oreating the clutch fork onto the thrust bearing.
It sounds like you have a bell housing out of a earlier Falcon with the 2 bolt starter on drivers side which would need the 164 tooth fly wheel which were 28 oz and a hydraulic operated clutch fork.
From I can see you may need to get a 164 tooth fly wheel made with 50 oz balance.
My Cobra is running a AU XR8 5.0 which was a auto. I had to get a flywheel, bell housing and clutch. The gearbox is a 6 cylinder T5 which is the same gearbox as a V8 but with a shorter input shaft.
All our gear came from Castelmain Rod Shop except the motor and gearbox. It is the same as stock apart from the clutch kit. Which is RPM 111N
I found this the easiest. The hole set up works fine. Only done 1 track day at Winton and no drag racing yet.
