The car show for the Boy Scouts and the Christopher Creek/Kohls Ranch fire department was just fine. About 65 cars, lots of sunshine, gentle breezes, and temperatures in the low to mid-80°s. Getting under the shade of tall pines was not difficult and made the day downright pleasant. I canceled my trip to Mormon Lake since the sky, in that direction, was very dark and menacing. I also left the show about 2 and got caught in rain probably 25 miles this side of Payson. Didn't like that. Wasn't all that bad but now I've got lots of cleaning to do. All in all, it was a good day.
