I can't tell if your comments are directed towards me, but I'm NOT "incessantly knocking him down" aka personal attacks.
If Evan owned a CSX2000 or CSX3000 from the 1960's, then there would be no discussions at all, because he would own a real genuine original Shelby Cobra. Period. But for those 1,000 cars built 50 years ago, every other Cobra produced subsequently, are replicas, clones, including those being built by a company called Shelby, from 1996-present.
Some people at SAAC, likely over the uproar of many, decided to add the Shelby replicas, Shelby decided to call them "Continuation Series" for marketing purposes, because "true replica" wouldn't sell well, and then more recently added Kirkham Cobras too.
Not sure how that's a personal attack or "incessantly knocking him down" since I own a Kirkham and I think it should be kicked out of the Registry as well. Am I knocking myself down too? My objection is about semantics of the words "real", "genuine" or whatever adjective du jour. If anything, he thinks he attacked me by labeling me a "liberal."
