The local agent opted out of the sale for my Coupe, I purchased direct from FFR, as had a number of others at the time I was ordering. The Coupe kit wasn't ADR approved.

I have asked the question to FFR.. awaiting their reply.

The requirement I need to satisfy as detailed by the local engineer..



a) a substantive comparison, by way of part numbers for all the main parts, between a full volume reference vehicle and the subject vehicle,

this would be much easier though,

2/01 Side door latches & hinges Can be sourced from a production vehicle known to comply with this Rule. Must be connected in a manner that will support the applied loads – calculations are sufficient to verify the connections.


Did you have any basis to support the approval to use the Eberhard latches..? Was there an equivalent vehicle in the US or an OEM application that you were required / able to identify to support their installation.
