Default Something old, something new....

511 inch FE, with Tunnel Port heads and intake. 723 hp @ 7000, 657 lb-ft of torque.

This was "take 3" of a build that's been active for about a year. We started with a 465 inch engine, no port work, and a solid roller camshaft, and made just a hair under 600 hp. Had the heads and intake worked on, switched camshafts to match the headwork, and made 696 hp @ 6800 with 590 lb-ft.

I'm blessed to have some customers who like to play and learn as much as I do. This one belongs to a West Virginia customer of mine...not going in a Cobra, but going in a '66 Fairlane.

Final build specs:

Pond cast iron block, 4.375" finished bore size. Scat steel crankshaft, 4.250" stroke. Lunati H-beam rods, 6.800" length. Racetec pistons with coated skirts, 11.8:1 compression. Ported factory Tunnel Port cylinder heads and intake manifold, topped with two Quick Fuel 725 cfm carbs. Custom Comp Cams solid flat tappet camshaft, 270/280 @ .050", .650" lift, 108 LSA. Crower SBF EDM lifters. T&D street rockers.

Crank up the volume...
