Pay the money and get good hoses from quality suppliers. Like mikeinatlanta says, Aeroquip or Fragola are good.
I know these are for oil lines, but if you are replacing fuel lines, lots of nice looking fuel hoses degrade quickly with today's gasoline. |
As an FYI: I spent some time on the phone with both Aeroquip and Fragola regarding compatibility with modern fuels. They both told me that every hose they sell will degrade with E-10 and recommend a five year replacement, including the Teflon. Same story for E-85 except for a 2 year replacement recommendation. I questioned some of Fragola's literature which states alcohol compatibility and he told me: "It is, for a while".
