It's fixed now and I did check the fuses in those circuits, but good to keep in mind. As soon as I get the resistor, I will wire it in parallel with the ignition bulb and be good. I bought the resistor on amazon and didn't notice they were mailing it from Hong Kong until I got the shipping notice.
