No experience, but that looks like a dead-ringer for the PowerTrax Grip LS - I believe they're even using the same photo.

I don't know about noisy clutches, but I do know that when I went looking I went for a Torsen-type differential - no clutches, no friction modifier for the fluid / lube, and no need to re-build or replace clutches.
I also faced the decision of going with a name brand (e.g. Eaton Detroit Truetrac or Powertrax Grip Pro) or save $100 and go with an 'off brand' copy manufactured 'who knows where' with limited or no support if something goes wrong. As the guy at Jeg's put it - "that's not where you want to save $100". I bought a Powertrax Grip Pro and I'm very pleased with it.
