Yes my target location is the same spot though fitting it now may be a bit tricky.

Am thinking of buying the aerial model that Dougie has pictured above as they can be had from Autobarn I believe.

I now recall the same style of aerial going into one off Marty's kits as where I'd seen this installation. The mast was extended and then gently curved to match the dash curve.

Not sure how that style of aerial will perform but I can only give it a try I guess.
