I used them on my car at numerous track events several years ago. Keep them clean so they can be smoothed down well and you should be OK. I had my car up to 140 many times and never lost one form the hood, trunk or doors.
Tech Explanation: At 140 MPH the air two feet from your car is moving at about 140 MPH relative to your car. The air 0.001 inch from your car is barely moving at all relative to your car. The area where the speed of the air increases dramatically from zero to 140 is called the boundary layer. The decals are thin enough to be in the part of the boundary layer where the air speed is much slower than it is a few feet away.
