There are two ways to measure Octane ratings. The Research method and the Motor method. In the US we use the average of both combined (R+M/2).
In Oz, they use one or the other. If I remember correctly (IIRC), they use the Motor method which is the higher of the two.
Your 93 Oz octane gas is NOT the same as US 93 octane, far from it.
