Any way of getting any pictures of the transmission torque convertor portion and assembly to the engine? If a stock 727 bolts up to the engine, then a Chrysler manual transmission bell housing should also bolt up. But, I suspect the 727 may have a modified bolt pattern or an adaptor to bolt up to your engine. If a Chrysler bell housing will bolt up then you could use a Chrysler 4-speed transmission or an aftermarket 5 or 6 speed designed as a replacement for the stock 4-speed.
