I'd be thinking that given the price and time that is involved to have an emissions test done in NSW that you should get hold of the correct cam for your engine to have the testing done. Surely there are stock LS3 cams sitting under workbenches all over the place.
From what I have heard passing is hard enough as it is, let alone trying to get something unknown to work.
