Please don't give up,Tom - a polished (Polish?  ) Kirkham GR1 would be a thing of beauty indeed!
Edit: Sell it as the Kirkham Mongoose (an ode to its fraternal grandfather, the Detomaso Mangusta) and supply body/chassis to Shelby to be sold as the Shelby GR1. I bet there's a lot of people who'd love to see this happen!
