Comment, on original cars the alloy under door hinge is two peice. Allows the hinge pin to fit through bottom.
You have the angle to be able to insert?

Jeff,
good point, just not there yet, as you point out there needs to be a cut made to make clearance for the door hinge bolt to be installed and removal.
I like to make the floor board in one part then cut, I just find it a little easier to hold and fold everything.
Here is a picture of the cut that needs to be made, this is the floor board from one of our other 427 cars.
